Last night, the PR firm (Bollare) that I'm interning for had an event with Lyst at The London West Hollywood.

It was a great turn out, and I got to help out with the guest list :)

There was champagne & hor d'oeuvres, and guests got to meet the VP of Lyst.

What's Lyst you ask??

It's a fashion discovery website...kind of like Twitter but for fashion.

You have your own profile where you can "lyst" fashion items that you want, like, or are inspired by.

People can follow your lysts and you can follow theirs.

It's generated thousands and thousands of dollars for the participating brands

because it makes it easier for people to navigate and discover fashion online.

[dreaming of] mexico

I've been to Mexico twice...

but I can't really count either of those as an amazing Mexico experience.

Once was as a stop on a cruise when I was eight,

and the other was freshman year of college with my friend's fraternity.

Brooke got to go on a fun Mexico cruise for our best friend's brother's wedding,

but there was only room for one, so I was left out of the jet skiing, parties, & street tacos.

Ever since I saw one of Bloomspot's travel deals for a $100 all-inclusive 3-night

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico stay for two, I've been dying to just plan it and go.

Too bad the plane ticket's the heftiest part of the price...

But, a girl can dream :)

I've never been a huge fan of the color pink.

Lately, though, it seems to be popping up everywhere.

viva las vegas

Last weekend I went to VEGAS for the first time 

as a member of the 21 Club (as our server today called it haha).

It was everything I imagined and more.

Brooke & I had the best time with our friends,

met new ones,

and danced the nights away.

Sure, I lost my purse for about 10 minutes,

and by the time I'd found it, 

my cash, iPhone, and camera were nowhere to be seen.

But, we also went from staying in a corner of a Venetian room

to staying in our friend's upgraded Planet Hollywood Westgate penthouse suite

complete with an in-room jacuzzi & floor-to-ceiling views of the strip.

I can't wait to go back :)

long weekend lovin

It's been a fun week :)

Half day on Friday, today off, and my best friend in town.

Friday we went to Drais in Hollywood

where Brooke and I got to check off some bucket list items.

☑ ride in a party bus

☑ dance with a Phoenix Sun

(well he used to be...we were the last dancers standing at Amare Stoudemire's table

and security made everyone leave except for us!)

Then, yesterday, we had a pool day in the valley with Olivia!

Afterwards we were starving and decided to go on a little Burbank adventure.

We went to Tequila's Restaurant Bar & Grill

and ordered peach & mango margaritas just because now we can!!

And they ended up being free either because he forgot to charge us

or because he was just being nice :)

Can't complain!

And we finished off our stuffed tummies with our favorite summertime

(and really any season) snack.
